The Mannequin House Project
Mannequin House Project is a project of confidence building for school aged children. Our trained volunteers are professional stylists who show school aged boys and girls, who are in that awkward phase in life, some techniques to keep themselves well groomed.
They also teach the children what grooming styles are age appropriate, occasion appropriate and event appropriate. They assist the kids with everything from how to groom and dress for the first day of school, first job interviews and even college orientation.
This program is designed to assist those children who are unable to afford the luxuries of salon visits and professional hair care. We look to forward to making each child feel confident, to building character and showing them how to build their own self esteem one hairstyle at a time.
